EFFETRESEIZERO Ltd has trained some refresher courses about Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Laser Imaging Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), especially in forestry field:
- In 2012 the course for the samplers of the State Forestry Corps illustrated the applications realized by EFFETRESEIZERO Ltd, the right method of the georeferencing and the GPS navigation and location with professional tools.
- The course “Rilievi inventariali nella Nuova Pianificazione Forestale Aziendale Trentina (NPFAT)” was carried out in the headquartes of the Agronomists and Foresters Association of Trento. On 18th – 19th and 20th of March, both lessons and laboratories about the use of mobileGIS, such as Relaskope and Geonote, and the NPFAT method were organized.
- In Pratovecchio (AR), the course “Utilizzo del GPS per il Tecnico Forestale“ was organized for agronomists, foresters, agricoltural experts and students that had to have almost an elementary knowledge about GIS and cartography. Marking path, achieving sampling plots, georeferencing events etc are some goals of the GPS use during the forestry surveys. - In April and October of 2014, the course “LiDAR nelle attività di monitoraggio, pianificazione e gestione forestale” was organized in Bologna. The aim of the course was to teach the interpretation of LiDAR data, not only in forestry field but also in agricultural and environmental. The course wanted to underline the influence of LiDAR in monitoring, planning and management phases.
